Help Stop Poachers in Protected Areas and Get a Reward!

Rangers and citizens in and around protected areas: help save Kyrgyzstan’s natural heritage!

Poaching and illegal hunting threaten rare, iconic animals such as snow leopards, mountain goats, or argali. Together, we can stop this and protect our precious wildlife from extinction!

If you help to apprehend or register poachers and confiscate guns or animals killed inside a protected area, you play an important part in saving these endangered species.

For this service, you may also receive a reward of up to 15,000 KGS from the Snow Leopard Foundation and the State Agency on Environment Protection and Forestry! In addition to this reward, the Government will pay 30% of the poacher’s penalty to the person or group that helped catch them.

You will also be honored for your valuable work to protect our natural heritage and receive a certificate in a public ceremony if you wish!

If you come across poachers or hear about their activities, please try to record as many details as you can for proof and inform the nearest park ranger station. Please inform the Snow Leopard Foundation as well by calling 0703 265605. If you are a ranger and have apprehended poachers, make sure to file a report to qualify for your reward.
